Is your child worried about going back to school? What can you, as the parent, do? First and foremost, try to focus on the physiological: getting enough sleep (establish a schedule NOW if you haven’t already), eating foods we were meant to eat (limit the processed food), drinking lots of water, and getting ample time to exercise and be outside. Let them know that you care about them and their new school routine. Ask open-ended questions. No matter the age, your child needs you (even if they don’t show it).
