If you are going to college for the first time this month, I’d recommend that you check out their counseling services (why not?!); making the transition from high school to college and living with your family to living on your own can be HUGE. You have plenty to talk about with a counselor.
If you are returning to college and have been struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, etc., I’d recommend that you go sign up for counseling services ASAP.
Waiting too long may result in being put on a wait list. There is currently a college mental health crisis and not enough counselors. Read more about that HERE.
(If you are in/near the Main Line of Philadelphia, feel free to reach out to me if there is a wait list and you can’t wait! I love working with college students.)
