Everyone- who is putting themselves out there- whether that be in a job, relationship, or just life in general, has been rejected.
Years ago, my husband started a “rejection” file folder. At first I thought this was bizarre, but it turned out to be an excellent idea, and in the end increased our gratitude. If we ever applied to a job and didn’t land the position, the corresponding rejection letter would go in the file. This served us well because, on occasion, we would revisit the file folder and say, “Oh, wow! Remember when we so badly wanted the job at XYZ Company? Good thing THAT didn’t happen!”
Even if it’s painful in the moment, I would encourage you to look for the silver lining. If you’re struggling with this, I can help you do that.
