We are about to enter week #8 of quarantine. It’s okay to think (or say!), “This is awful,” while also remaining hopeful. There is always hope.
It’s also okay if you are enjoying this time. It’s a time to pause, slow down (for some), and reprioritize. If this quarantine has been a positive time for you, that’s great! No need to feel guilty!
The most important thing is to allow yourself to feel whatever emotions come up for you. Anxious? Makes sense. Lonely? Of course. Grateful? Yes, that emotion can live in the space too. Positive and negative emotions can co-exist.
You can read one person’s account of week #7 here
If you need help processing your thoughts (& feelings), our therapists have a few openings left. Thankfully, insurance is covering Telehealth counseling (during the pandemic).
